Southwest Kansas Roofing & Hurricane Laura
What are Hurricanes?
Also known as typhoons, hurricanes are curving storms that structure over the Pacific or Atlantic sea. These twisters are hazardous and can convey twists recorded of up to 183 mph. They at times hit land and will destroy billions of dollars worth of property. Among the property that can be annihilated is anything in its manner from houses, automobiles, buildings including trees and land. As of late Louisiana and Texas have been damaged by Hurricane Laura.
What began close to Puerto Rico on Saturday Aug 22nd inevitably dealt with the bay of Mexico making high waters and flooding of Southern Louisiana and Eastern Texas by Monday Aug 24th. Storm Laura entered a class 4 typhoon with winds of up to 150 mph and made landfall in Southern Louisiana early morning Thursday Aug 26th. Storm Laura has caused 850,000 individuals to be out of electricity in Texas. Flooding has been a major problem including wind damage to utility poles, trees, houses, and businesses.
