Garden City Kansas Roofing Repair & Replacement
Garden City Kansas is one of our favorite cities to service. The people here are wonderful and are always willing to lend a helping hand. Garden City was founded in 1878 by James Fulton & William Fulton. They soon encouraged others to settle in Garden City. In 1879 the Railroad Station was placed in Garden City which in turn brought in more people. Today Garden City is very diverse in culture and is known for over 20 different languages spoken. Here at Southwest Kansas Roofing we have bilingual employees that can help assist anyone of their needs. A few attractions in GC would be the Big Pool which was known for being the world's biggest free pool up until 2003 when the Garden City Recreation took control and started charging an admissions fee. Another attraction would be the Windsor Hotel which was built in 1887 by John Stevens. It's a four story building that was known for its lavish quarters. The hotel was closed in 1977 but plans to renovate the building and turn it into a 65 room boutique with a bar and restaurant have emerged. We are all glad to hear this news and hope this comes in the near future.
